Austin Zoo is a private, non-profit zoo that rescues and rehabilitates animals, and is home to over 300 animals across 100 unique species. The zoo is located just outside of town in Hill Country, and provides a great outdoor experience and the opportunity to see the animals close-up. Austin Zoo opens daily at 10:00am and they offer student discounts.
