In 2011, the Hunts opened Via 313 Pizzeria out of a small trailer in Austin, TX with the dream of bringing Detroit-style pizza to people from all over. Detroit-style pizza is known for its rectangular shape and sauce on top. Baked in a heavy pan, the light, focaccia-like dough develops a golden crunch on the bottom. On top, cheese is spread to the very edge,
so you can enjoy every bit... right to your fingertips. Sauce is ladled on just before serving, ensuring the cheese and dough crisp up during the bake. Built right, to the last bite - it’s their guarantee.
